On the front, there is a handstamp reading "Fee Paid at Boston, Mass. G.P.O., Number 18, Date 8-20, Time 7:50 PM.," as well as a handwritten notation of "Special." T he cover is franked with one 2c and one 10c (Scott #E15) stamps. Clearly, this was a very important letter. The cover is in excellent, clean condition.
