Byers Choice 1991 Apple Lady. This was the first in the Cries of London series. She has the red stockings. She carries her apples in a Blue box with handle. Dressed in her tweed skirt, cream apron, and white sweater, she is topped off with red scarf pulled into a hood beneath her brown hat. She sits on a wooden bench with her hair a bit disheveled. A spectacular caroler, one of the most sought-after ones in the Cries of London Series. A classic caroler suitable for any display. This would make a great after-holiday gift. In very fine condition, stored carefully in a non-smoking home. (bv)
