Byers Choice Woman Selling Christmas Wreaths 13" 2004 Mint This is a beautiful Byers' Choice Wreath Seller. The woman is holding two well-decorated wreaths (with fruit, holly and bows,and a wicker basket full of holly. She was made in 2004, and is a retired piece, retired in the mid 2000s. She is dressed in a wool forest green skirt with a white and red checkered apron, a houndstooth shawl, and white lace at the neckline with a white bow, plus a lighter forest green jacket. She wool mob cap and has a small pair of "gold" wire glasses perched on her nose. She has a mohair wig, and she stands 13" tall. Byers' Choice carolers and figures are made in Buck's County, Pennsylvania, in the Byers workshop in Chalfont. As they are handmade, no two are exactly alike. I have also seen this piece called the Wreath Maker. Condition Wreath Seller, a figure made by Byers Choice comes to you in excellent condition and complete, with minor base wear. The piece is marked on the base. As you can see from the bright colors and lack of wear, the collector that owned these pieces rarely displayed them and they have mostly been safely packed away.
