Description

This is a mailing card printed in 1912 entitled "good roads" which describes the good roads movement throughout the country as described by the Ingersoll-Rand Company in New York. The mailing card includes six pages of detailed product descriptions related to hammer drills, heavy rock, drills, air, compressors, and other equipment use at the time. The card was mailed to "Eureka engineering and construction company" in Eureka, California . They used a one cent green Washington stamp that has been cancelled, postmarked Jul 29, 1912 at 4:30 PM from Easton, Pennsylvania Very good condition for something over 100 years old, has a couple of minor tears as you can see near the stamp. Else is a very fine copy.
