Rare Gelber "Huna" (Hund, Yellow Dog - name given to the plane used for the flights) Flight Card, with Darmstadt June 18, 1912, special cancellation. Card is the rare ribbed variety (see pic for vertical ribbing on the reverse). Special flight with 2 overprint stamps for a total franking of 2 Marks, not including the 5 Pf Germania. Cards with both the 2 overprint stamps and Huna (worn plate defect for the left stamp) are quite rare, especially with the ribbed card! The card is listed as #13a/13c in the Sieger Katalog, with a value of 860 Euro w/o the ribbed card. Condition is as shown in the pics. The card is in quite nice shape.
